Today's the Day

Well, I said this a year ago when J.R. Smith called a press conference to announce whether he was coming to Chapel Hill or heading to the NBA, and it's worth repeating here: players typically don't call a press conference to tell people they're coming back to college. What's the point? That's like me holding a presser at work to tell people I will be returning to work after the Memorial Day weekend. So I'm not expecting any surprises today when Sean May, Raymond Felton and Marvin Williams have a joint press conference to tell us about their future plans. Now if David Noel declares for the draft, then I'll be surprised.
