Happy Christmas: AFC North Champs, First-Round Bye

Predictably, some Ravens' fans are bellyaching about the Holmes touchdown catch. Excuses are for losers. Not to mention the fact that the overhead shot made it clear that the ball crossed the line. And if the argument is that "there isn't indisputable evidence" to overturn the call on the field, does that mean because the officials screwed it up the first time it shouldn't be corrected?

And as long as we're calling for the waaaambulance, should I whine about all the calls the Steelers didn't get? Um, no. Because, again, excuses are for losers.

Sorry for the delay -- I was celebrating with Skippy ALL NIGHT LONG. Actually, my son thought it would be totally awesome to give me his cold, so we spent the day whinging. Good times!

In any event, um, wow. A lot has changed in 24 hours. Rashard, Kendall done; Najeh back in the fold, and the Steelers-slaying Jags up next. (By the way, Florio is on drugs if he thought a) the Steelers were going to sign Shaun Alexander, and b) there should be an AFC North bidding war for his services. Jeebus.)

Also, how completely fantastic is it that once Big Ben started calling the plays in the no-huddle, the offense started clicking. Stay hot, Bruce.
