A couple of things:First, while this is basically a thought experiment, I'm on board with Glenn's suggestions. So much, in fact, that I wrote for SCI that the Steelers should consider it. They won't, of course, but that plan is just crazy enough to work.
And then there's this, from Hines Ward: "why does Ben want a tall wide receiver?" Actually, Ward makes all the points most of us here make, and, yeah, it was kinda dumb for Roethlisberger to even comment to the media about it. I don't think it'll have any bearing on anything -- the Steelers aren't drafting a tall wideout in the first round and I'm guessing Ben and Hines will be best buds once the season starts.
