Roger Clemens Is Going to Hell

... I think I'm in the minority, but I couldn't care less about the Mitchell Witch Hunt. Maybe because I'm totally unsurprised with most of the names I've heard on the list (I haven't watched one second of coverage all day, just seen some e-mails floating around.) Just wanted to put that out there for those of you who do have opinions on the matter. Before changing subjects, does anybody think this'll keep Clemens out of the Hall of Fame? I don't, but I don't pay a lot of attention to the inner workings of the Cooperstown contingent.

... The fine folks at Hugging Harold Reynolds send along this link of a Steelers' fans journey to Foxboro. The conclusion: the Pats are the new Yanks. I think Simmmons made some similar analogy, but I think I actually hate the Pats more. Like the Yankees, I'm all for New England going on a world championship drought.

... Finally, good timing by Sepulvidite on this comment. I've got a draft-related group project that can help us pass time over the holidays. I'll go into detail tomorrow. In the meantime, know this: to paraphrase Ben Crenshaw during the 1999 Ryder Cup, I have a good feeling about the Jags game. That's all I'll say ... for now.

P.S. Thank Dr. Gretz for the video.
