Week 1 picks

* In case you're not familiar with my surefire betting scheme, here are the basics (and it also explains why I'm able to post my bets on Sunday morning even though the season started Thursday):

... Always take the Steelers. I mean, how much fun is it to pick against your team? Why not just wear a Ravens jersey why you watch the game and get it over with?

... Always bet against the Ravens because there's a better than even chance that Brian Billick's head will explode and blow the top off that awful hairdo.

... Always pick against the Pats because, well, they're so friggin' good. Any chance to see Belichick pout on the sidelines is a good time.

... Always pick against the Redskins. I live in DC and I'm not a Redskins fan. I love Clinton Portis, but otherwise I want them to lose ... by a lot. It's kinda like being a Redskins fan and living in Pittsburgh.
