Is this the guy you want teaching special education and coaching middle school basketball?
"A basketball coach who gave a 13-year-old player a "Crybaby Award" will be banned from coaching, sent to sensitivity training and ordered to make a public apology."This would be funny if it wasn't so disturbing. The thing is, I'm guessing this dopey coach just finished watching the Bob Knight story on ESPNClassics and he thought it would be cool to treat one of his kids like Neil Reed. What's really worrisome is that the coach is only 24 years old -- it wasn't like he was some crotchety, jaded old man. He should be demoted to the guy who has to throw the sawdust on the vomit when kids get sick and more importantly, he should never be allowed to coach again.
