Let me apologize for my absence last week. I'm sure it was hard to function without my insight and guidance. For what it's worth, I was in an epic battle with the IRS over an unresolved issue from 2007.

Turns out, I made the mistake of hiring the worst CPA in Upstate New York, and possibly the solar system (if anybody is looking for a really shitty accountant, just shoot me a line!). In any case, that's behind me and I'm now focused solely on next month's draft and who will be playing quarterback for the Steelers in 2010.

Viva la ... something.

Don't Be That Guy

Usually not much going on this time of year for the Steelers, but thanks to Big Ben kickin’ it in MillyVegas, as well as this almost-as-troubling news via Mike Lombardi, well, there’s plenty to discuss.

Shorter version: I pray Ben isn’t as dumb as he seems, and here’s to hoping Lombardi’s wrong about Limas Sweed.

So What Did We Learn?

I DVR-ed the Combine but have only watched bits and pieces. I did see that C.J. Spiller ran 40 yards at half the speed of light, which must make him a target late in the first round, right? RIGHT?!
